Challenge #7 What Remains challenge
Sometimes, what remains is the memory of a lighthearted moment that brings back a sensation of being back there again. Like when you were a child and you ran through the grass picking up all the dandelions that had gone to seed just so that you could blow all those seeds into the wind.
This was a memory that remains with me and this is what I tried to convey with this latest challenge. The memory of a young girl blowing the dandelion seeds into the breeze.
The background is composed of 3” linen and cotton log cabin blocks. The girl is appliqued organza with stitching to highlight her features and her hair. The dandelion is created with stitching.
