With the theme Doors, Windows, and Portals I immediately thought of some photos that I had taken on a photo walk in downtown Winnipeg. The walk was sponsored by a local photography shop and it was inspiring to see the downtown core in a different way.
This photo was edited in Photoshop Elements and printed on fabric by Spoonflower, quilted, enhanced with coloured pencils, and added free-motion stitching for the tree at the bottom left.
I loved the reflections in the windows which gave an altered view of the surroundings, especially with the angled glass at the top.
I called this piece "Reflections of Life".
