Nature and outdoors speak to me. Spending time outdoors and drinking in the sights and sounds of the nature around me brings a peace to my heart. The colours we find in nature are often outstanding and breathtaking. I wanted to recreate the colours found in nature in an abstract fashion and vibrant colours. I have chosen to create a vibrant abstract piece in contrast to my last challenge pieces that were rather monochromatic and I needed to feel this piece come alive through the colours used.
It is raw edged pieced and machine quilted and beaded.
