I do not speak English well and this situation handicaps me a lot to communicate in this group. So my project describes a situation when you are not confortable in life, you look at doing other people with ease and you are incapable of it. It’s an emotion where courage is no longer enough, there is too much anxiety. The image of the bridge which cannot open its arms describes my timidity to participate in the WhatsApp exchanges (as there is no translator).
So I started with this idea:
But then, I got a lot of encouraging messages from the group and I understood that I can lean on my Bridge Sisters. So, I positioned myself among the other bridges, and not in the lower part of the quilt. I even opened my arms.

For the banks of the river I fused my fabrics created on Photoshop and printed by Spoonflower. The bridges are made of different materials (ecoprinted paper, transparent and poured plastic, copper sheet, raphia, wool for Embellisher etc).
