"Bridging Relationships" by Mary Kay Fosnacht

Updated: Feb 6, 2022

16.5” x 20” (42cm x 51cm)

The word “bridge” is inspiring to me, not as a concrete structure or a noun, but as a verb. I think of bridging the gap between two or more people. I often feel like the bridge between family members or friends. In turn, each family member and friend has their own family members and friends to bridge. Some bridges span between individuals and some span many people and some bridges are merely threads.

I chose blues and greens for the color palette because to me they represent water and vegetation, living and growing.
