When we chose the theme Bridges, my initial response was to think of all the neat photos I had of bridges. However, when scanning my photos, I found one I had taken of some of the people in my art quilting group. We were walking across an old railway bridge that had been converted into a walking path with the grain elevator and water tower just visible in the distance.
The bridge supports us as does our friendship and sharing of creative ideas.
Here are some of my initial steps in the process.

I used stitching to add the creases in the clothing along with the occasional touch of coloured pencils.
I feel that I captured the essence of this group.
